Daniel Elder is a seventh generation native Floridian. He began an early career path working in the family business as a teen. Accepted by the Northeast Florida Home Builders Apprenticeship at Florida Junior College, Jacksonville, he graduated from the four year program at age 19. He then completed classes in mechanical engineering, contracting, and accounting at the University of North Florida. Obtaining licensure as a Certified Air Conditioning Contractor in 1985 Daniel Elder was the youngest Certified Contractor in Florida at the time.
As owner and qualifying agent for Elder Heating and Cooling Inc. Daniel built a successful contracting business. With a client list of over 20,000 annually, Elder Heating and Cooling regularly conducted business with the Florida Department of Transportation, Coggin Automotive Group, J. M. Moran, Southeast Toyota, Jekyll Island Authority and The Smithsonian Institute to among others.
Daniel Elder sold his business in 2000 along with most of his real estate holdings in Northeast Florida and retired at the age of 43. After traveling and living abroad he settled in Flagler Beach. Investing heavily in real estate, Daniel first obtained licensing as a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate in 2004 and Broker in 2015. Pursuing general real estate and land development.
Using his business experience and skills Daniel has expanded his portfolio to include “Business Broker”. In recent years he has brokered a number of business acquisitions within the state.
